ABOUT ME
Anabelle’s research explores the politics of data-driven and digital welfare states, with a focus on race, gender, and migration. Her writing spans digital feminisms, diaspora activism, and the entanglements of people, technology, and social policy.
She holds a BA in Political Science and a Master's in Industrial Relations/Labour Studies from the University of the Philippines Diliman. She also completed a Grad Diploma in Public Policy and Program Evaluation from Carleton University and a Certificate in Data Science from the University of Guelph.
She studied the impacts of armed conflict on Indigenous communities in Mindanao, including the Lumad Blaan and Bangsamoro Samal peoples, and the diverse ethnic landscapes of Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.
She has written and has forthcoming publications on digital feminisms, datafied welfare states, and diaspora activism. Her work may be viewed from ORCID.
